Well I think the above says it all. The land owner now has other plans for the land and on those grounds has decided to reject our offer.

Don’t give up yet guys. Unless God has made it clear to you that he is shutting the door to you, it may be that as you put in one of your posts he is stretching your faith. Big time. Keep praying. God is faithful! Keep praying (and I will too) that God would work in this man’s life and that he would sell the ground – ‘cos it may be that the place is right but not the time… or that otherwise God would provide another clear pathway. Do you have a specific support/prayer group for the retreat centre? people who have the same vision as you and who are committed to keep bringing it before the Lord? Worth doing so if you haven’t already…and how about prayer-walking (and claiming the land for God?). You never know what God will use as a tool for his purpose…

Thanks for your encouragement, we don’t have a specific support or prayer group. There are a few people who believe in the vision and kind of have it on thier hearts in the background. Maybe its time for some more concrete action.
